Before they go home, our puppies are familiarized with getting baths (includes nail trims and ear cleanings), extensive noise desensitization, exposure to different surfaces, car rides, children, other dogs, daily handling (and lots of snuggles) age appropriate vaccinations, deworming medications, vet check ups, a health certificate, vet clearances and a health record. In order to break up the trip, most families travel to our area (and stay overnight in a hotel) the day or evening before the puppies go home date. They then pick up their new puppy the next morning and travel back home.
