Our Health Guarantee Policy

Our Health Guarantee:

Our puppies come with our exceptional two year money back guarantee on all of the things that we test our parent dogs for as follows: Should the puppy develop a condition that our parents are tested for, that is diagnosed and proven to be genetic and not acquired, and is shown by your veterinarian (and our vet confirms at buyer’s expense) to have a parental-tested genetic defect that requires surgery, we will reimburse the surgical costs up to the purchase price of the puppy. The Buyer does NOT have to return the puppy to the Breeder. Should the dog be found to have Hip or Elbow Dysplasia before 24 months of age, Buyer must provide Seller with proof in the form of documentation from OFA. Expenses pertaining to testing, treatment and exams to confirm a diagnosis are the responsibility of the Buyer. All of our breeding dogs have been tested and cleared for the following covered conditions: Hip dysplasia, Patella dysplasia, Elbow dysplasia, Cardiac, DM Degenerative Myeopathy, Neonatal Encephalopathy, VonWillebrand’s, PRA-PRCD, GR-PRA1, GR-PRA2 (eyes), GM2 Gangliosidosis, Ichthyosis (golden retriever type), Golden Retriever Muscular Dystrophy GRMD), Sensory Ataxic Neuropathy (SAN), Osteochrondrodysplasia.

Our Guarantee does not cover costs for the following once the puppy leaves the Breeder: Cancer, hypoglycemia, hernias, behavioral issues, physical injuries and/or illnesses which may have occurred during transport to the buyer. Viral or bacterial illnesses, parasites (including giardia, coccidiosis). Parasites are common is puppies and are considered part of regular maintenance for a healthy puppy/dog. No breeder could 100% guarantee against parasites. Infections, improper or imperfect bites, or kennel cough, stress related illnesses, seizures, note: per the FDA: preventative flea/tick medications (both oral and collar types) are known to cause seizures in dogs/puppies, even after the medication is stopped. Breeder does not guarantee adult coat color, coat type or that your dog will be completely non-shedding (they are minimal to non-shedding), or that no one in your household will have allergies to your dog (they are hypo-allergenic) or exact adult size/weight. It also does not include any illness due to the ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals or physical injury.

Your puppy will go home with a Health Certificate from our vet stating that your puppy is healthy, has no known disease or illness and is up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations and de-worming's. You'll also get a health record showing the vaccinations and de-worming treatments that your puppy received while in our care.
